May is National Bike Month, and this year is unique as it marks the 30th anniversary of Bike to Work Day.  Bay Area Bike to Wherever Days organizers celebrate the milestone with the 30,000 Miles for 30 Years of BTWD. Get ready to log your rides in May and earn the chance to win prizes up to a $500 gift card. 

Gilroy Takes the Crown in 2023!

Gilroy won last year's competition with a fantastic display of riding excitement. Los Altos took the lead early in the Pedal Power Challenge, followed by a strong effort from Menlo Park. Gilroy, on the other hand, made an unexpected late run to take the lead. This challenge demonstrated the locals' unwavering tenacity and devotion and the spirit of friendly competition and community participation.

Bike to Wherever Days

Don’t forget to pledge to ride! From May 16 to 18, Bike to Wherever Days is the perfect time to get out there and feel the joy of biking, regardless of your skill level. When you pledge to ride, you can receive a free Bike to Wherever Days 2024 tote bag from an Energizer Station near you and have a chance to win a random drawing prize from local bike shops.

Pedal your way to VTA’s Energizer Station on Thursday, May 16th, adjacent to the Guadalupe River Trail and the River Oaks Bridge. We will be there handing out tote bags, snacks, and new 2024 Bike maps from 6:30 a.m. until 9:30 a.m.
