Here’s your opportunity to ensure local tax dollars for transportation projects and services are being well spent.

VTA is tasked with distributing millions of dollars for transportation projects throughout Santa Clara County, with the proceeds of the 2016 Measure B sales tax.  A Citizens Oversight Committee (MBCOC) was established to ensure transparency and accountability in that process, and VTA is now recruiting additional members to serve on that committee.

Measure B funds projects that enhance public transit, highways, expressways and active transportation (bicycles, pedestrians, and complete streets). The MBCOC provides oversight to ensure that funds are spent according to the approved ballot language. The committee:

✅ Helps inform the community with annual reports
✅ Enhances transportation project oversight
