The CONCACAF Gold Cup returns to Levi’s Stadium on Sunday, July 2 with a double header, where we will see Jamaica vs. St. Kitts & Nevis kickoff at 4 p.m., and Mexico vs. Qatar kickoff at 6 p.m. The last Gold Cup match held at Levi’s Stadium was in 2017 between the United States and Jamaica. Levi’s Stadium will also play host to matches during the upcoming 2026 FIFA World Cup.
Attendees are encouraged to take public transportation to the event.
VTA will operate its regular Sunday service on Bus Lines 55, 57 & 59, which serve the stadium. Extra service trains will be operating to the stadium from Mountain View, Alum Rock, and Diridon. Extra service trains from Diridon Station will service the stadium up to two hours after the event starts. Extra service trains on the Orange Line will provide continuous service to the stadium before, throughout, and after the event.
Bus return service will begin immediately following the event, and the Lick Mill and Old Ironsides Stations will be closed for 60 minutes after the end of the event, so boarding will be at the Great America Light Rail station only. Extra service runs up to an hour after the event ends. We encourage customers to make their way to their return stop location as soon as possible.
If you plan on taking BART to the event, connect with the Orange Line at the Milpitas Transit Center. BART will be operating their regular Sunday service and the last northbound BART train departs Milpitas station at 11:51 p.m.
Caltrain users can also connect to the Orange Line at the Mountain View Transit Center. Caltrain will be operating their regular Sunday service and the last northbound Caltrain departs Mountain View station at 11:34 p.m.
If you plan to drive to the Milpitas Transit Center and take light rail to the game, we recommend paying in advance for parking permits online or on your smartphone with the Passport app (for daily permits only). The Passport app is available on the App store and Google Play store. This will help you avoid long lines at the parking kiosks. You can find more info on parking at Silicon Valley BART stations here.
Use Clipper mobile for easy fare payment and Transit app for trip planning, real-time information, and service alerts. Both apps are available on the App store or Google Play store. These tools will make your trip on VTA seamless.
