VTA is continuing efforts to assist in enabling every eligible Santa Clara County resident to be vaccinated against COVID-19, with a permanent vaccine site set up at the Santa Teresa Light Rail Station in South San Jose.

Bay Area Community Health is staffing the site, which receives its supply of vaccine from the Santa Clara County Public Health Department, with the capacity to provide up to 900 Moderna COVID vaccines per day. Appointments are preferred, but not required.  To make an appointment at the BACH COVID vaccine site at the Santa Teresa Light Rail station please visit this website: www.bach.health.

This walk-up and drive-thru vaccine site presents an easy way for people to get a vaccine on their way to or from work or school, or wherever they ride transit, right at the Santa Teresa Light Rail Station.  As usual, all transit and paratransit rides to COVID vaccine sites are FREE.

Those who drive through can stay in their car for the entire process.  There are special accommodations with a vaccination tent and observation area for those who take transit or walk to the site.
