Do you have to work late hours, and your carpool/vanpool left? Are you faced with a personal crisis or family illness at home? Let's face it, life is unpredictable. When you least expect them, emergencies can occur, throwing a wrench in your commute plans. But with the Guaranteed Ride Home program, you can rest assured that you'll always have a ride home.

What is GRH? This program provides a safety net for commuters who use a sustainable mode of transportation to work or school in Santa Clara County when an emergency arises. You can select a rideshare service or other transportation option to get home and get a reimbursement via PayPal, Venmo, or check. This program provides up to 6 free emergency rides or $500 in total reimbursements.

Who qualifies for this service? Employees or students 18 years old or above who use public transit, carpool, or use other sustainable transportation options to commute are typically eligible for the GRH program. It's a win-win situation for the environment and employees, fostering a healthy community and enhancing the commuter experience.
