How do you use the Branham and Capitol Stations light rail stations? Do you walk, ride your bike, or park your car and use transit? What will improve how you get around and make the area more accessible? We want to learn from you!
VTA is conducting an Access Study for the Branham and Capitol light rail stations. The study is concurrent with the Capitol Station Transit-Oriented Development project and will identify recommendations and projects to improve how you get to and from the Branham and Capitol stations.
Ensuring access for pedestrians, bicyclists, and transit users is considered and incorporated as part of the final project is a priority for VTA. The recommendations we receive from the community could include improvements for bicyclists and pedestrians, and station elements such as lighting, bus waiting areas, and directional signs.
Providing feedback is interactive, easy, fun, and will only take a few minutes of your time. Visit us at one of the following 3 VTA hosted pop-up events:
- Thursday, January 26, 7:30 am – 10:30am, Capitol Light Rail Station
- Thursday, January 26, 3:00pm – 6:00pm, Pearl Avenue Branch Library, 4270 Pearl Ave
- Sunday, January 29, 9:00 am – 1:00 pm, Westfield Oakridge Farmers Market, 5420 Thornwood Drive
