Thank you for your continued patience during the March 2025 service disruption. VTA is now issuing credits to riders and institutions who paid for March passes but could not fully use them during the affected period.
As of April 16, 2025, we have begun applying credits to eligible Clipper cards. We are working with Cubic, the operator of the Clipper system, to finalize the remaining pass and cash value loads.
Who Will Receive a Credit
Credits are based on how the March pass was purchased:
- Riders who bought a March Monthly Pass (cash, credit, debit, or check) will receive a May Monthly Pass loaded onto their Clipper card.
- Riders using Autoload or who received their pass from a third-party (such as an employer or school) will receive a cash value credit on their Clipper card.
- Annual pass holders will have their pass extended by one month.

- Credit timing will vary depending on the pass type and purchase method.
