There are still slots left for the Vanpool program supported by the Metropolitan Transportation Commission (MTC) and subsidized by VTA.

You may have seen our billboards along Monterey Highway, and if you’re curious how it works, here it is:

MTC administers the Bay Area Vanpool Program where 5 to 15 passengers share the cost to lease a vehicle from Enterprise Car Rental, at a cost of roughly $1,000 - $1,575 per month, plus the cost of fuel. But the price can be cut significantly through MTC’s program.  MTC offers up to $350 per month for eligible vanpools, and VTA’s pilot program provides an additional $350 subsidy providing eligible vanpools savings up to $700 per month.

Currently, VTA can subsidize 20 vanpool groups per month, so sign up now. Commuters who live and work in Santa Clara County and are interested in joining the program can visit commutewithenterprise.com/mtc.
