Aerial View of Levi's Stadium for Earthquakes Game
Take VTA to Saturday’s San Jose Earthquakes vs. LAFC at Levi’s Stadium
05/03/2023

It's another battle of NorCal vs. SoCal at Saturday's soccer match on May 6, where the San Jose Earthquakes will face off against defending MLS Cup champions LAFC at Levi's Stadium. Kickoff is set for 4:30 p.m. with a Cinco de Mayo Fan Fest beginning at 1:30 p.m.  This marks the Earthquakes’ first regular season game at Levi’s Stadium since May 2015. As always, attendees are encouraged to take public transit.

VTA will operate its regular Saturday service on Bus Lines 55, 57 & 59, which serve the stadium. Extra service trains will be operating to the stadium from Mountain View, Alum Rock, Diridon, and Santa Teresa.

Bus return service will begin immediately following the event and the Lick Mill and Old Ironsides Stations will be closed for 60 minutes after the end of the game, so boarding will be at the Great America Light Rail station only. Extra service runs up to an hour after the event ends. We encourage customers to make their way to their return stop location as soon as possible.

Be sure to download the Clipper mobile app for easy fare payment. The app is available on the App store or Google Play store. This will make paying for your trip on light rail or bus seamless.

If you plan to drive to the Milpitas Transit Center and take light rail to the game, we recommend paying in advance for parking permits online or on your smartphone with the Passport app (for daily permits only). The Passport app is available on the App store and Google Play store. This will help you avoid long lines at the parking kiosks. You can find more info on parking at Silicon Valley BART stations here.
