Make the most of the last day of summer by participating in Viva CalleSJ on Sunday, September 22! Enjoy a sunny day outside as you walk, bike, skate, and play. Viva Calle offers six miles of car-free open roads for the community to explore San Jose’s scenic streets. Along the route, stop by any of the three activity hubs for food, live music, vendors, and bike parking. 

This time around, the route will run from Backesto Park through Japantown, and past Arena Green to the Rose Garden. The event will kick off with a 5k run, be sure to register as soon as possible. Follow the event on Facebook or visit vivacallesj.org for the latest information, including street closures and bus line re-routing. 

The festivities will start at 10 a.m. and continue until 3 p.m. Ride VTA to Viva so you don’t miss out on the fun! You can start anywhere along the route and head in either direction to enjoy the neighborhood without worrying about motor vehicle traffic.
