Soooo, the San Francisco 49ers are continuing their run toward the Super Bowl. Bring it on, Green Bay, and VTA will bring the service to get you to the game.
VTA ferried more than 8700 passengers to and from last week’s win over the Minnesota Vikings. Once again, our extra service to Levi’s Stadium will start two hours before kickoff time (1:40 pm). Post-game special service will begin immediately following the 4th quarter, ending one hour after the game ends, even if it goes to overtime. (But we don’t think the 9ers’ll need it, wink, wink.)
If you’ve been to a game before, you probably know the drill: light rail from Mountain View, Campbell, East and Downtown San Jose will run trains every 10 to 15 minutes. For those coming from out of town and staying in local hotels in the downtown area, we've got you covered.
We will also run extra bus service from Warm Springs BART (Route 251); and Bus Routes 55, 57 and 59 will also serve the stadium.
VTA light rail connects with regional transit services: Caltrain (from San Francisco), and ACE, Capitol Corridor and Amtrak (from Sacramento and the Central Valley).
And don’t forget to download your 8-hour light rail Excursion Pass for all Levi’s Events. Paying your fare right from your cell phone is the easiest way to go. Or use your Clipper Card.
Fun fact: The Packers and 49ers have met seven times in the postseason since 1995, with Green Bay holding a 4-3 lead. Let’s even the score 9ers!
