NOTICE is hereby given that the Santa Clara Valley Transportation Authority (VTA) will receive Bids until December 17, 2019 at 2:00 PM, for the above project at VTA Contracts Office, 3331 North First Street, Building A, San Jose, CA 95134.  

For purposes of this Contract, the Work consists of furnishing all labor, materials, tools, equipment, services, supervision, and incidentals necessary to (a) maintain the landscape(s) in an attractive condition; maintain the irrigation systems in effective working order; and (c) perform weed abatement as needed, throughout the Contract term for all locations identified in these Contract Documents.

The Contract is for one base year with four 1-year options. The Work will be conducted within an operating rail yard and adjacent to and within existing shop facilities. This Work will be subject to restrictions to ensure safety and the continuing operations of the yard and shop and the light rail system. The Engineer’s Estimate for this Work ranges from to $3,790,000 - $5,450,000.

The Bidder itself, as the prime contractor, must possess a Class A or Class B license, meaning the Class A or Class B license requirement cannot be satisfied merely by identifying a subcontractor with a Class A or Class B license.
