VTA seeks proposals (each, a “Proposal”) from qualified firms (each, a “Proposer”) to provide the following engineering services (“Services”) for the light rail (LRT) bridge and structure inspections project (“Project”). The scope of services includes the four tasks: 1) Inspect LRT Structures; 2) Management and Reporting; 3) Catalog of Structure Inspection Reports; and 4) Emergency Response Inspections.
This Project provides for the implementation of the Bridge Maintenance System for the structural inspection of critical VTA transit structures including bridges, tunnels, and ancillary structures, retaining walls, sound walls, culverts, barrier (crash) walls, and overhead catenary structures over a five (5) year contract comprising three biennial inspections.
