What

  • Contractors will be undertaking soil testing at the northern 1/3 of the Newhall Yard (off Brokaw) to help prepare for VTA’s BART Silicon Valley Phase II Project. 

Where

  • Northern portion of VTA’s Newhall Yard property located off Brokaw Road in Santa Clara, CA (No work in the portion of the yard located in San José). This lot is privately owned with no public access.

When

  • Work is anticipated to start Monday, February 21st and last until Friday March 11th
  • General work hours are standard for the City of Santa Clara will be 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM
Why

This work is necessary to help prepare for VTA’s BART Silicon Valley Phase II Project.
