Traffic lane shifting Friday, 7/30/21 of the US 101 southbound off-ramp & southbound loop on-ramp.

The US 101 southbound off-ramp and southbound loop on-ramp will be closed on Friday night (7/30/21), between the hours of 9:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m. The closures are due to:

  • A traffic switch from the current southbound off-ramp detour to the new PERMANENT southbound off-ramp that will go over the new Pedestrian Undercrossing. 
  • To switch the traffic TEMPORARILY to the southbound loop on-ramp detour toward US 101. 

Following the traffic switches, foundation construction will begin for the southbound loop on-ramp with the pedestrian undercrossing. 

Pile driving for the foundation of the pedestrian undercrossing is scheduled to begin August 11-13, from 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., daily.
