Overnight full freeway closure on 3/8 and 3/9 of the US 101/Blossom Hill Road Overcrossing

Overnight full freeway closure on 3/8 and 3/9, for the adjustment of falsework (temporary support structure for the bridge) of the US 101/Blossom Hill Road overcrossing. Construction will require 2 nights of full freeway closure, 1 night in each direction depending on progress. Changeable message signs and directional signs will be in place to assist motorists traveling in the area. 

Southbound US 101 complete freeway closure from 3/8/21 (Monday night) between, 12:00 AM to 5:00 AM

• Closure of southbound (SB) lanes will start at Hellyer Ave. until all lanes are closed approaching Blossom Hill Rd., except the off-ramp.
• Detour - SB 101 traffic will exit at Blossom Hill Rd off-ramp, turn left at Blossom Hill and then turn right onto SB 101 on-ramp.

Northbound US 101 complete freeway closure on 3/9/21 (Tuesday night) between, 12:00 AM to 4:00 AM

• Closure of northbound (NB) lanes will start at Bernal Rd. until all lanes are closed approaching Blossom Hill Rd., except the off-ramp.
• Detour - NB 101 traffic will exit at Blossom Hill Rd off-ramp, turn left at Blossom Hill and then turn right onto NB 101 on-ramp.
