Weekend loop on-ramp closure toward southbound US-101 off De La Cruz Blvd. (December 17-19)

Scheduled construction activities require a weekend closure of the southbound loop on-ramp to US-101 off De La Cruz Blvd. The on-ramp will be closed from 5:00 AM Saturday, 12/17 to 5:00 AM Monday, 12/19.  Detour signs will be in place. Motorists are advised to take alternative routes.
 

Detour from Southbound De La Cruz Blvd. to Southbound US-101:  

  1. RIGHT on CENTRAL Expy
  2. RIGHT SCOTT Blvd
  3. RIGHT SAN TOMAS Expy
  4. ENTER US 101 Southbound ON-RAMP

Why

The loop on-ramp closure is to safely pour concrete for the second half of the new Pedestrian Under Crossing and to eliminate traffic vibration to avoid cracking while the concrete dries.

Community Impacts

NOTES: For the safety of the public and construction workers, traffic control measures will be used when needed. Information and warning signs will be posted to ensure safety. Construction crews will make every effort to minimize inconvenience to motorists, bicyclists, pedestrians, businesses, and neighbors.
