Credit for March 2025 Service Disruption
Thank you for your patience and understanding during the recent service disruption in March 2025.
As of April 2, 2025, VTA has officially approved a plan to provide credit to riders and institutions who prepaid for VTA monthly or annual passes but were unable to use them in March.
Eligibility
- Individual riders who purchased a VTA Monthly Pass for March 2025
- Institutions participating in the VTA SmartPass Program
- Organizations served through the TAP, Uplift, and consignment programs
- Annual pass subscribers affected by the disruption
Next Steps
VTA is currently working on the backend to automate the credit process. Eligible customers will have their credit automatically applied for May 2025—no action required.
Depending on the type of pass, credits may include:
- A credit applied to a future monthly pass
- A credit or an extension to an existing institutional program or annual pass subscription, where applicable.
